OUR HISTORY

In 2014, the Lufkin ISD Education Foundation was created to provide LISD teachers with the support, funds, and encouragement to implement innovative ideas and experiences in the classroom. In the past 8 years, we have been successful in doing so by awarding nearly $700,000 in grant funds.

OUR MISSION

The mission of the Lufkin ISD Education Foundation is to provide opportunities for excellence in education, promote innovation in teaching, and partner with the community to enhance the quality of education for all students of the Lufkin Independent School District.

NO OTHER INVESTMENT YIELDS AS GREAT A RETURN AS THE INVESTMENT IN EDUCATION.
